Life365 (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is an AI-assisted journaling and personal growth companion. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you use our iOS app and related services (“App”). Our goal is to help you capture moments, reflect deeply, and turn insights into action—while keeping you in control of your data.
 
 
 
2. Information We Collect
 
 
We follow the principle of data minimisation, collecting only what is necessary for the features you choose to use.
 
2.1 Account & Authentication
 

• Anonymous Firebase authentication (no email required)

• Firebase ID token (short-lived, for secure AI requests)

• Subscription status (Pro/unlocked state)

 
 
2.2 Journaling & Growth Data
 

• Memos and elaborations you write (text + timestamps)

• AI-generated outputs linked to your entries (reflections, small goals, quotes, titles)

• Deep reflection sessions (framework type, question, your answer, AI response, title)

• Growth cards and steps (titles, descriptions, completion status, progress)

• Gratitude entries and interaction notes

• Daily insights (theme, observation, suggestion, quote, read/favourite status)

 
 
2.3 Preferences & Controls
 

• Language, theme, reminder settings and time

• Privacy/consent toggles (privacy agreement, AI consent, disclaimer acknowledgement)

 
 
2.4 Usage Limits (Free Tier)
 

• Counters to enforce free-tier limits (AI queries used today, lifetime memos created)

 
 
2.5 Notifications
 

• Reminder time for scheduling local notifications (content never leaves your device)

 
 
We do not collect location, contacts, health, calendar, or photo library data.
 
 
 
3. How We Use Your Information
 
 

• Deliver core features: create/store memos, generate AI reflections, manage growth steps, schedule local reminders

• Personalisation: apply your language/theme settings and adapt AI prompts

• Security: verify requests via Firebase ID tokens; enforce free-tier limits

• Subscription management: determine Pro access and restore purchases

• App improvement: local logging for reliability (no third-party analytics at launch)

 
 
We do not sell your personal data.
 
 
 
4. Data Sharing with Service Providers
 
 
We only share the minimum necessary data with trusted processors:
 

• Google Firebase Authentication – issues ID tokens (anonymous by default)

• Google Cloud Run/Cloud Functions – secure AI proxy, processes prompts without storing them

• Google Gemini – receives de-identified prompt text for AI responses (via our proxy)

• RevenueCat – manages subscriptions with anonymous identifiers and purchase records

• Apple In-App Purchases – processes payments (we never see card details)

• Apple UserNotifications – schedules local reminders on device

 
 
No data is shared with advertising networks.
 
 
 
5. Storage & Security
 
 

• On-device encryption: Journaling and growth data are encrypted at rest using AES-GCM; keys are stored in the iOS Keychain

• File storage: Saved under Application Support with iOS File Protection, excluded from iCloud backup

• API credentials: Stored securely in the iOS Keychain

• Network security: All AI proxy requests authenticated with short-lived Firebase ID tokens

• Access control: Production systems protected with multi-factor authentication

 
 
Retention:
 

• On-device data – kept until you delete it (in-app or uninstall)

• Subscription/receipt data – retained by Apple/RevenueCat per their policies

• AI requests – processed transiently, not stored server-side

 
 
 
 
6. Your Rights & Controls
 
 

• Edit/Delete: Modify or remove entries anytime

• Full reset: Uninstall the App to erase all on-device data

• AI consent: Toggle AI processing on/off in Settings

• Preferences: Change language and reminders at any time

• Data export/erasure: Contact us; we respond within 30 days

 
 
 
 
7. International Data Transfers
 
 
Your data may be processed outside your country of residence by our service providers. Appropriate safeguards are applied to protect your information.
 
 
 
8. Children’s Privacy
 
 
Life365 is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them. Parents may request deletion via the contact details below.
 
 
 
9. Subscriptions
 
 

• Free tier: 10 AI queries/day and up to 7 lifetime memos

• Premium: No daily caps and unlimited memos

• Payments: Processed by Apple; we never store card details

 
 
 
 
10. Analytics
 
 
We do not use third-party analytics at launch. If introduced later, they will be privacy-preserving and optional, with in-app controls.
 
 
 
11. Policy Updates
 
 
We may update this Policy for legal or product changes, with at least 30 days’ notice for material updates.
